Cafe Katzung advertises itself with a typeface designed by one of the most famous German graphic designers and typographers of the 20th century. Otl Aicher designed “Rotis” in 1988. He became famous for his extensive corporate design projects for Lufthansa or the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich. “Rotis” is a matter of heated debates in typographic circles: some appreciate it for its uniqueness, others complain that the individual letters, though individually well-designed, do not harmonize in the overall context of the typeface.
